What happens next

  1. Queue

Your Signal lands in intake; we skim for fit and clarity.

  2. Reply

Straight take: questions, next step, or a polite pass — no nurture automation.

  3. Next

When it makes sense, we propose a call or a concrete follow-up thread.

1. Reply window. We aim to respond within two U.S. business days for most inquiries (often sooner). Complex routing or holidays can add a day — if you are under a hard deadline, say so in the first line of your message.

2. What we send back. A straight read on fit: clarifying questions, a proposed next step (for example a short call), or a polite pass if we are not the right team. No automated nurture sequences.

3. Prefer a calendar? Mention that you want a live conversation in your Signal. If a call makes sense, we will propose times or a scheduling link in our reply — you do not need a separate tool on this page.

For engagement shapes, artifacts, and typical horizons, see How engagements work on Services.

Include in your first message

  • Goal — build, integrate, advisory-only, or a mix; what “done” looks like in one sentence.
  • Timeline — target dates, immovable deadlines, or “exploring for Q3.”
  • Constraints — stack, compliance, hosting, or team capacity (even rough).
  • Budget band — if you have one; “TBD” is fine, but ranges reduce back-and-forth.
  • Links — deck, repo, or product URL if shareable.

Good fit / not a fit

Often a strong fit: teams shipping or scaling software who want senior execution across product, data, integrations, and AI; organizations that need architecture or vendor decisions before committing engineering; partners who value documentation and handoff.

Usually not a fit: lowest-rate body shopping with no ownership on outcomes; requests that require us to bypass security or compliance; engagements where success cannot be described without a measurable result.

If you are unsure, send Signal anyway — we would rather say no quickly than waste your quarter.

Commercial & procurement

When work moves past intake, we use clear statements of work and master agreements as appropriate. Insurance certificates and vendor security questionnaires are available on request for qualified engagements — mention procurement in your Signal so we route correctly. Overview: Security.
